GIZ / Assessment and project proposal for the implementation of solid waste management standards in Ethiopia
Ethiopia
The assignment was to: develop a rapid assessment guidelines for the improvement of the SWM system at city level; develop and conduct training for a local core team of data collectors; develop a project proposal for a 5 year SWM project in 12 cities, which the Ethiopian Government can easily adjust and submit to potential donors for funding and to develop and conduct training for selected experts from federal, regional and city level.
